06/16/2009 - Negotiations Held at the Top Level
The topic of negotiations held on the 15th of May, 2009 between the Director General of OOO “Stroycomplect-2” (Limited Liability Company), Mr. Yury Rekunov, and the Minister of Works and Transportation of the Republic of Uganda, Mr. John Byabagambi, was reconstruction of a railway network in the Republic of Uganda with the view of improvement of its traffic capacity.

Geological and topographic surveying, development of a detailed design of reconstruction of a railway siding to the feed processing plant. Complete overhaul of 501 linear meters of the existing railway siding and railway crossing. Construction of a new second railway siding track of 380 linear meters including laying of power switch and two in-plant railway crossings. Design and installation of a maneuvering gear (elevator). Preparation and approval of Railway siding operation and Track certificate by ÎÀÎ Russian Railways (Open Joint-Stock Company).
